Tie a knot in it? How do you remember things?

How do you prop up your memory when you have things you absolutely, definitely, have to remember? At night I tie a knot in the corner of the sheet, a practice which is not popular when the said knot whips over in the night and nearly has Other Half's eye out, but hey! then that is two of us that remember I tied a knot to remind me of something! Another trick I have which has almost never let me down is to write a quick note and stick it to the door latch, so that I HAVE to see it before I leave the flat. Oh, the times that has saved me from trudging back to the flat, absolutely furious with myself because I have arrived at the post box having left the post securely inside the flat! How do you remind yourself of important things?

I write a lot of things down and then I lose the list. I wrote my son's cell down the other day and not 2 minutes later lost the paper and he had to write it again. Now, that is sad..lol I just try to make list and hope that they are not lost or that I do not forget them when leaving the house (if shopping)..half of the time I forget the list for that, also. If you find a cure. Please email me..lol Thanks in advance...haha

You are just as bad as I am lololol. The list stuck to the door handle works well for me. Also you could always wear one of those fringed boleros and tie knots in the fringe. Sounds like I am being flippant but I have done that before also. Maybe somebody who answers this post will have a cure, it would be very nice, wouldn't it?

Ok I have to be honest, when I saw the Title, I was thinking you where tying a knot in something else, will not say what Why are you tying knots in your Sheet, it creases the Sheet, if I would do that, I would forget about it and the knot would be there till I change the Bed. But I have to say I like the bit about the Knot whips over to other Half, hahaha, I would laugh myself Silly. Ok, ok I am going, you can tell I am BACK ):P

Yes, I missed your cheeky little comments lol. Yes, please, please do not tie knots in your sheet, I don't want the washing machine getting messed up and then me getting the blame for that! Poor Other Half does not share your joy in the fact that he is always getting zapped with the knot. So, Blondie, how do you remember things, because you do seem to have a very good memory with no recall problems, what is the secret?

That is good! Anything to help me remember is a good thing for me. I spend so much time looking for things. We have a special hook for keys but does you-know-who put them there? Oh no, we have to have a rousing game of hunt the keys!
