Do you know anybody with Fabry Disease?

Yesterday I took my son to a Genetics lab, and was giving them some family history. Part of that was to describe some of the health issues I've been having over the last 9-10 years now. It was interesting, because the doctor asked me if I'd ever heard of Fabry Disease. I'd never heard of it before, but I of course immediately came home and "googled" it. It doesn't sound pleasant. Of course some of it sounds similar to what I've experienced over the years.. but as with many other diseases out there, it can be misdiagnosed, because symptoms pop up over the course of many years, and be symptoms of other diseases/disorders out there. Do you know anybody who has this disease (in a mild form or other wise)? Can you tell me about the onset of it? How long it took to be diagnosed? How the doctor finally got a clue as to what it was?
