for this one you have selected a very good response as the best one I must say. I also face this trouble and for few of my discussions I have not yet selected the best response as its quite difficult to choose sometimes. In them I feel like marking more than five responses as the best one. lol I have just kept on rating the responses to them. I need some help for them I think ;-D

yes i agree yanjiaren. I have not given that much best responses for my discussions because i am having difficulty picking the best one. I often wait for a week before marking the best response. Some users really give nice responses and this leaves me confused in marking which response is the best.

On mylot responses are like opinions, oh wait not like, they are opinions. When marking a best response we should have an idea of what we are judging the responses on. For instance, does that response support my ideals?; was that response the most informative?;is that person my best friend and she will give me heck at the salon for not giving her a best response?. So, it is important to make a personal choice on how we judge a post. Giving a best response, I believe only helps the reciever. It is like a little bonus from a fellow mylotter that says "Hey thanks for taking the time to put some thought and effort into supporting my thread". That's not to say that all that respond don't deserve praise, they do. Attracting the mylotter that is most knowledgeable about your thread is the scholastic goal of mylot. Just remember that most and I don't refer this lightly, most folks on mylot are here chasing money.
