Kids are always surprising us with what they do. They make us laugh, they make us smile, they make us worry :D What did your child do today that truly surprised/amazed you or brightened your day? Let me start: My son came up to me without being told and gave me a wet baby kiss :D. He's 16 months old.

just this morning, my son, a 4 month old baby, was able to roll over again. it's the 2nd time he was able to do it and i applauded upon seeing him do that. we co-sleep and when he woke up this morning, he smiled at me and then rolled over. it's really amazing. i know some babies were able to do it on their 3rd month but considering that my baby is overweight, for me it's an accomplishment and i love him for that. :)

This actually happened a few days back but it still makes me laugh whenever I think about it. Everyday, we leave our 20-month old daughter with my parents while we are away for work. The other day, a cousin dropped by my parents' house. When she was leaving, my mom walked her to the gate, leaving my daughter with her grandfather inside the house. For some reason, my mom took longer than expected (read: she chatted with some neighbors). While my mom was out, my daughter kept asking my dad, "Saan Mama Sit? (Where's Mama Sit?)". When my mom finally came back, my daughter (with her hands on her waist) blurted out, "Saan ka galing?! (Where have you been?!)". Hahaha! :D

i was lying on the couch because i wasnt feeling well, i must have dozed off because i woke up to my daughter (5) covering me up and putting a wet face cloth on my forhead. I asked her what she was doing she said "mommy you just looked so cold, and you have a headache" it was so sweet.

She (my 17mo old baby) was watching baby einstein....and all of a sudden she was talking the ff KOWAWA - for koala, WAWAP --for giraffe, ISSHH--for fish, AKI - for monkey...i really applauded!!! learning to talk really fast. there's also this thing she really likes to do that made me think that it's about time i buy her a puzzle....she loves removing those loose tiles of our parquet floor, sometimes its making me laugh to see how she's having fun with it, I call it he big floor puzzle :p
