Buying NIKE products.Which made from do you prefer to buy?

I have a friend who is really like Nike products. He likes Nike shoes mostly a basketball shoe. But he prefer to buy a Nike Shoe which is made from US. I ask him why he don't like other made like UK,CHINA,FRANCE etc. He said that Nike US made are original and cannot be easily destroyed. Is it true that Nike from US are more original than the other Nike made? My friends sometimes ordered from his cousin living in US some Nike products.
