If you had to choose...

If it was a must i would choose to be blind cuz i have to hear things and music is the one thing that chills me out .... im already pretty much blind in one eye so it wouldnt make much difference in that eye and i walk into things anyways and i touch type from when i had perfect vision so i dont need it for such things and i know it sounds horrid but being deaf to me has got to be so much worse cuz granted you cant see family and friends if you are blind but you would have pictures in your head and with sound it is so much better to hear them speak and hear about what they do than see them and maybe not understand what they are trying to say. Hmmmmmm now i dunno i couldnt cope not seeing ma family and friends it would kill me...but like i said music is like my life so it would kill me not being able to hear it now that i have and i have so much of it

I would much rather be deaf. I already know sign language, as does most of my family and my husband is learning. I would miss listening to music but I think I would have a much harder time getting around if I was blind. I like to drive, and I wouldn't be able to do that blind. It is also harder for a blind person to enjoy traveling to new places than it is for a deaf person.

i'd rather chose deaf because nowadays, it is curable through the helped of technologies!...I want to see how beautiful the world is and to see all kinds of colors!...i dont want to be a blind man!...i dont want to see whole black for my entire life!...

That is a very hard question to answer. But if I had to choose. (wondering why I would have to choose) I would say being deaf. I love nature and I cant imagine not being able to see the beauty of a sunset . Or the snow When it slowly glides down to the ground.

I think that I would rather be deaf then blind! I would have a hard time with not being able to see nature, I love taking pictures so I think deaf would be better! Also my 3 yr old talks nonstop being deaf would be a good thing on a bad day!LOL

I hope I never have to face either blindness or deafness, but I think being deaf would be easier to adjust to. You could still get along well by yourself, where a blind person is so reliant on trusting others, or a dog, or canes, that I think it would be pretty horrible.
