God doesn't want us to suffer, I mean he would have not sent his son Jesus if he wants us to suffer and endure the consequence of our sins. There are sufferings because we don't go to Him or consult Him for His will and remember satan is always around to trick us to sinning. As a result of our act we get consequences and since it is not according to His will we tend to go off track and usually get bad results in return. we suffer because we don't seek His way, we wanted our own way. Just to relate you i read a story. there was a barber and a customer having his beared trimmed and his haircut. then they came to a topic about God. The barber said "You know what I don't belive in God". The customer replied, "why not?" "because if there is God, He would not allow suffering, children begging on the streets...." the customer just kept quiet and did not say anything because he did not want to argue the cu is now done with his haircut so he went out of the barber shop, and as he went out he saw a man with a dirty long hair and untrimmed beard. The customer went back into the barbershop and he said. " i don't believe that barbers exist" "huh?i'm here, i am a barber and i just had your hair done." exclaimed the barber "No sir, because if there is a barber there wouldn't be a man like him with dirty long hair and untrimmed beard" answered the customer "the reason why there are people like that is because they don't come to me to have their hair done and trim their beard" the barber said "barbers do exist!" "exactly! that is my point! there is suffering because people don't come to God." said the customer.

It's easy to blame suffering on God, but the fact is that we were given free will and we create our own experience through the vibrations that we emit into the world. We create our own suffering as well as our own joy. We emit vibrations into the universe with our thoughts, beliefs, emotions, words and actions. If they are negative, chances are we will attract negative experiences in return. If they are positive, chances are we will attract positive experiences instead. The vibrations work both singly, with individuals and collectively with groups and societies. Households, places of employment, towns, cities, states, provinces, countries. Whatever group we might happen to be part of, our collective vibrations affect all of us. These are what leads to the events we experience such as the weather for instance. If collectively we emit vibrations of fear it is then that we experience disasters, both natural and unnatural, including war, terrorism, disease, pestilence, starvation etc. I think that my favourite all-time quote from Gandhi applies here. "You must be the change you wish to see in the world."

They say that God allows suffering so that we may remember Him and be humble. He allows suffering to remind us that we need Him in our lives.
