Speed of baseball...

In my opinion baseball is far to boring to watch... It takes far too long to watch and in effect barely anything ever happens... When a person can FAIL 6 out of 10 times and still be considered GREAT something is extrememely wrong... What can baseball do to speed up the pace of the game, improve the action quality, and get out from under this steroid blanket?

Baseball goes back generation after generation. There's a rule book and I don't think anything will ever change. I love baseball...But I know a lot of people that think it's boring and slow......

i know nothing can be done about the batter vs pitcher problem but there should be an effort to speed the game up, its quite rediculous

Thank god there is no time limit in baseball. If a person only failed 6 out of ten times he probably would be the greatest hitter there ever was. If you are a person who only watches the ball than baseball will be boring for you. Their are many other things to watch for before, during and after the pitch. Greatest game ever invented. I bet you think 7ft players dunking a basketball in a 10ft goal that "never moves" and they could dunk on theit tippy toes as wonderful action or watching the pro football players stand around for 3 hours while we have to watch commercials so we can see 3 minutes of total action in a football game as exciting give me a break.

no i happen to not like basketball... but there is no way that you could argue that baseball is more exciting that football, there is 100 times more action in football, perhaps you should actually watch a game to see that

I don't know, but i went once to watch the Red Sox play the Pirates when i was younger i was so excited because everyone thought it was a big deal well i went,i seen, i was bored, lol it is just as boring to watch live as on t.v. maybe they should use cheerleaders too... atleast that would give you something to watch if you were bored witht the game lol

With a sharp curving curve ball 99% will fail 10 out of 10 times. Thats why 4 out of 10 are considered great.

Soccer is the only sport I do like! Constant action and only "breaks" are when the ref blows the whistle and they are short. Baseball, yawn...no action unless they hit a ball and the ball actually goes somewhere...which is almost never. Hockey, nothing but an excuse for guys to beat each other senseless. Football, takes an hour to go from one end of the field to another. Golf, naptime...long walks, no action. Basketball, no sport at all! Guys are so tall there is no effort to put the ball in the hoop. Where is the challenge?

i think steroids make the game interesting home runs is the most exciting play in baseball besides the triple so if more people were on roid then there would be more excitement
