police speed camera's

ive just read about 2 people in victoria, australia who shot out the lense of a police speed camera, i know i should'nt say this but " what a pair of legends " i hate speed cameras, i know they are only trying to stop people from speeding but why be so sneeky and hide them like they do?

HIDE THEM? The police don't hide the photo radar cameras. They are generally right up on a pole beside an intersection. Lets face it, they don't send you a ticket for going 5 miles faster than posted, unless you are in a school or playground zone and then you deserve it! Recently there was an article here in Alberta where a car was tagged at more than 100 kilometres above the posted speed limit. IN A RESEDENTIAL NEIGHBOURHOOD! So, yeah, if you are going to speed, pay the fine or lose your licence.
