Some people don't and they think it's just a waste of time that they could have spent better working.

I take naps during the day. I get tired in the middle of the day so I take a siesta but then I make it up for it by staying up till 1or 2 am. I guess I am a night person.

You are different. My biological clock is set to 11 pm sleeping time but since I joined mylot I found it necessary to extend it a little bit more. I just glanced at the clock, it's already 15 mins. past 1 am. LOL

a brief nap really helps me a lot. especially when you have to work overtime. it gives you more energy to last longer work.

Personally I see to it that I take at least 30 minutes of sleep especially moments after lunch. I find it very refreshing and relaxing when I wake up.

you're right, it's so hard working straight. sometimes your head and eyes becomes so heavy that you'd want to lay it to bed :)

I take a nap every afternoon after lunch when my son is sleeping. I find that I feel more energised after waking up even if it's just a short half an hour rest.

Well, people get tired too you know. Not everyone can work for hours straight. =) Our body needs to rest every once in a while. =) There are people who just needs those afternoon siestas (like me).

If a machine needs to be turned off sometimes to prevent it from breaking down, the more our fragile bodies should take a rest. It's helpful.

for me, taking a nap a day is not necessary especially when you have completed the hours required for you to take a sleep and you are not that tired compared to those who have works.they have to gain much energy because they do need this energy in their daily works.... but there are people who love to take a nap because they used to it or they need it and there are some also believed that taking a nap will just destroy their moods and feel that it will just give them a bad day....... of course for the kids they need a nap because they are still growing.this will help them develop not only physically but wholistically....

I used to know someone who 'powernapped' through their lunchtime at work and they said they couldn't do without it. It's very rare I feel like I need a nap while I'm at work, although when I'm on a day off I sometime take one (although not very often) Strange thing is though I only sleep for two hours regardless during the day, I could almost set my alarm clock by it! Strange.. Nothing wrong with having a sleep if it make you more productive afterwards!

If I have a chance to take a nap during the day, then I take it. I think naps help me get through the rest of the day. Other wise I'm just dragging my feet all day,

I love naps!! For years I took one everyday. I would go to school in the morning... come home, take a nap, and then go to work. I stopped taking naps when my son was born.. there really just isn't time anymore. I miss them! Ashley
