you can file for child support. just make sure he acknowledges you as his biological son. you need proof or evidences to prove that you are his biological son just in case he denies you. here in the philippines child support is until 21 yrs of age of the child. go ahead & file. it's your right to do so.

I think the main thing that you want to ask yourself is, 'Relationship or money?'. Do you want to get to know the man that you haven't known and not feel any guilt? Or do you just want to suck 19 years of child support out of him? Either way, it's your choice and I have no place to tell you what is right, but if I were in your situation, I would just take the time to get to know him and enjoy that as payment. BUT if he's an a*s, and you want nothing to do with him, take him for all he's worth..I guess. But anyways, check in with a legal aid lawyer to give you some free advice on your situation and they will lead you from there.

Contact your local Family and Children Services . If you are entitled to anything they will help. I am am not sure you can get anything as you're past 18 yrs of age but you can try.

Don't know what state your are in, but go to the family court in your city, they can send you to the people who can fill you in on it. Bring your birth certificate with you. They should be able to help you get some money

im not really sure if u can collect it since ur mother never filed for it however i think its deffinately worth looking into!
