giving chocolate to children... think before?

most of us give chocolate to our children to make them happy or keep them quite when they cry a lot. but do you think givng chocolate to your children frequentlyt is good?

if you want to make sure that your kid knows that you love hin ... give him his favorite chocolate when ever he wants... chocolate is very good.... when i was a kid my favorite dessert was offcourse the chocolate!!!

I do not give chocolates but soft gummies to my toddler son when he gets restless while I'm outside. I try not to do it all the time , only when it's absolutely necessary.

I think as an occasional treat it's good, but not to 'keep them quiet' because that's just reinforcing a negative behaviour - that if they're bad, they'll get a treat. And that's not a good habit to get them into!
