How important is marriage ring.

I it is symbol of love and this boosts the spouse to think that the other has a part of love between them

They are all materialistic symbols of love. Whatz the use of a ring, when your hearts dont throb for each other?
As of me, I believe in rings of the heart. When you marry, wound your spouse around your heart and thatz the best and most precious of all the rings

I do not think that the ring is all that important at all i mean if you think about it it is only a matirial possesion and not what you love is all about anyway... if you think about it can all the love that ylou and your spouse share and all that you have been thru to get to the point of marriage and all that you will go thru after you are married, can that really be summed up by a lousy lump of gold or silver. I dont think so i think that it would take much more than meatl and stone to symbolize all that but the ring is a nice thought...
