Which of these two cities do you prefer if you have to choose for your next trip? I prefer Rome because it is more full of history than Paris, I can find a better weather and the food is better. And I think it costs less than Paris….

Rome is more historically interesting than Paris, I also found that the prices of things were a lot better than they were in Paris, I did enjoy my trip to Paris but went at the wrong time of year when everyone was on Holiday and the people that were left were not very welcoming, Also the hotel in Paris was terrible, however they do have some lovely things to do and see, but for a historical trip I would visit Rome again

Paris is a beautiful city with plenty of history, monuments, attractions, and more, so I definitely would opt to visit there again. In the Louvre alone, you can spend a week and not see everything!

I prefer Rome for his history, but Paris is wonderful. A Paris there's the Louvre Museum, the tour Eiffell, the Champs Elisee, les bateaux mousche, the Senna river

I would love to visit either Rome or Paris. I think to begin with, I would prefer to visit Paris. This is because I can speak the language, there are many things I would like to do there, for example, visit the Louvre, and I would love to see the Eiffel Tower. I would also like to visit Rome, and more of Italy though.

Nice question. I never been to any of these great cities. My brother did and just told me that both are fantastic. Yes, Rome is more historically important and I think that there are many historical places to see in it and that's great. However, I would choose Paris, as these days, it's more culturarely important than Rome (in my opinion). Also, there are many places to visit there. I also speak some french and I know no Italian, so that's maybe another reason.

I have to visit both quite often for work purposes. Have to say I much prefer Paris. There is lots of history there too, and the shops are wonderful. walking down the Champs Elysees, and taking a boat on the Seine, are marvellous things to do. I agree, Rome has lots of hisotry, but it is far too hot for me, and I find the place a bit too frenetic, and noisy. Ever tried crossing a road in Rome? It's terrifying! LOL!
