Blady problem with my PC

Computer problem - Comp restarts

My computer do not have any virus . This i have checked with NOD32 . But my computer suddenly restarts itself, Im unable to find the problem do u have any reason for this?

it has affected ma computer 2......... it in known 2 be a self restarting virus....a form of trojan...........it would be better if you format your system....i used the latest norton antivirus.......but in vein.............i formatted ma system n it has stopped

Your computer is probably infected with a malware, please check your (system32 folder) and try to find any newly modified files, applications. Get a good virus scanner, go to Mcafee.com and get a free online scanning done. Best of luck mate (you need lots of it to track these bugs).

you could try some other virusscanners too like Antivir Personal Edition or BitDefender 8 Personal Edition, both are freeware for Home Use. may be you should run msconfig and look what programs executed when your pc starts. That's the first thing where I look.

It might be possible someone is on your network, and with certain programs they can monitor you and do things like restart your computer whenever they want. You might have a virus though that your current scanner hasn't picked up, you could try another virus scanner like McAfee. It might be possible if it's something internal though, like your motherboard or something, but I doubt it. If all else fails backup all of your personal files on a CD and reformat your computer.
