Fast Food Resturants Denying Childrens Meals....

I was listening to one of my talk shows on the radio this morning and a listener had written an email telling them that she had gone to a local drive threw to pick up dinner for herself and a happy meal for her son. When she got to the window to pick up her meal she was denyed the childrens meal because there was no child in the car with her. I guess they don't want 'adults' ordering the childs meals for the smaller portions and cheaper prices. They then had people call in with their comments/experiences and there were alot of callers who had the same problems with this same food chain along with many others. Have any of you been denyed a childs meal because the child wasn't in the car with you? What do you think about this? I know personally I have never been denyed a childs meal...and there are many of times I've gone threw the drive threw without one of my kids. I think its almost silly.

I don't know what the big deal would be, they have raised the prices on most of them. You can buy things and eat for about the same price. I haven't had that problem, but have heard of a few people complaining.

I have never had this problem, nor does anyone I know. I buy happy meals for myself, because I don't always eat a lot. What food chain tried to pull this one off?
