Online Data entry works or outsourcing

I believe there are few pepole or sites which are outsourcing their data entry works or office automation works to freelancers through web. Can anyone help me out in finding those pople Or is there any way to contact people who gives dataentry works to home? I've seen some people who asks initial investment and would not pay at the end of the month. I dont want to take any risk.
