1. Dont forget to blink, most people get theirs eye dry because they to concentratae in what they are doing 2. Dont stay to long for sitting, maximum time is just 30 minutes. Get a reason to get up from your sit. Get some drink for example 3. Lots of drink, lots of urinate 4. For man, dont put laptop on your thigh. Affected on your mobility of sperm

All very good points - thank you. You can add the problems that occur with wrists - as people develop carpal tunnel syndrome from staying too long in front of a computer typing.

I totally agree, and i hope that a lot of people see your great topic! I do try very hard to remember to blink when I'm sitting here for long periods. It might sound strange, but you really can start forgetting to blink when you get to concetrating, and I have a lot of eye problems already, including my eyes getting dry, and I've had to learn to rememeber to get myself to blinking when I know that I've been concentrating on something like the computer monitor for awhile. I am very guilty of not getting up every thirty minutes. In fact, sometimes I don't get up for 3-4 hours. I know that this isn't good for a person's eyesight, but I just can't seem to drag myself away from the computer sometimes. LOL.

That's why i'm starting writing this warning. Our body is also a great alarm too, if maybe something happen to our body. If we do something good to our body, we'll got sick in long periode. Btw, thanks for your comment

very good tips i liked it the most being software engg. i sit for 5-7 hrs at a stretch on computers for the practise and development programs now i will have a breaks for a min or so. thanks for the tips

Very good topic! This topic has some resemblance on me. I stay in front of the PC 24 hours a day. I don't really understand myself how it is tiresome to use computer for such a long hours. But in reality it hurts a lot! I am addicted to computer and it has both good and bad outcomes. Sometimes my backbone pains and it hurts a lot. But I have learned a lot from using the same. I have a record of sitting 24 hours ( without moving ) in front of the PC. Its just a stupid thing to do. Anyways nice topic!

24 hours? Wow, i dont know what to say. Maybe after 24 hours, you hard to move, am i right. In three hour sitting, i've walk just like my grandma for a while LOL. Anyway, thanks for the comments
