Bye Bye Blemishes (Pimples)!

I bought Proactive Solution for my daughter to try. She had pimples all over her forehead. Now, they're gone! I would get an occasional breakout, so I started using it, too. Viola! My skin is more clear and softer, now, than it's ever been. It's expensive, but no more wasting money on products that just sit in the cabinet. We use it until it's gone, every time. And it works! We're proof!

I was very skeptical about purchasing Proactive Solution for my son due to the high cost and very little success with other products, however I am very glad I did! This product really does work. My son had a little acne on his face, but his main trouble area was his back. He has used Proactive for over a month and his back is almost acne-free now. It looks so much better than it did before. He doesn't feel ashamed to go shirt-less anymore and I think he will enjoy going in the pool much more now, too. His face is completely acne-free and is also very soft. He actually smiled for his yearbook picture this school year! I am a supporter of this product too. Can you tell?

Yes, I can tell that you're proud! (As I am!) Now, I can ask you something. Did your son use the body cleanser for his back? Or did he use the facial cleanser? By the way, the medicated makeup is also awesome!

The Proactive website allows you to purchase all these items separately, if you are a member. I'm glad for your son.

You know, I was not even aware that they offered a body cleanser! I will have to check that out. He uses the facial system on his back. He has the cleanser, toner, lotion and the mask. I believe he only uses the cleanser and toner on his back. It has made a huge difference on his skin and gave him a much needed self-esteem boost. I originally purchased it for the bit of acne on his face and forehead. He took it upon himself to try it on his back and it worked. I will have to tell him about the body cleanser. I rarely watch television, but he saw a commerical on television for Proactive and started asking me about it and like I said, I was skeptical. While visiting the mall after Christmas we saw a booth promoting Proactive and though I was hesitant, purchased it for my son. I am very glad I did. No, I did not know about the medicated makeup either. Thank you for all of the new information! I really need to start staying on top of things!: )

we tried that product for my son, but it really didn't do anything. we finally had to get accutane for him, and it cleared up completely.

I've never heard of accutane, but I'm glad you found a worthy product.

yes, i have heard about proactive solution but it is a bit expensive right? many local celebs here have bought and used that when they had break outs they say in some interviews i watch so it must be really effective. i guess im a bit lucky that i dont easily get pimples in my face. :)

thanks for the valuable information. i'll recommend this product to my friend who's been looking like a pizza lately. she'd spent a lot on derm treatment and so far nothing's happened. do you think this can work on her even if we have a crazy job schedule that leaves us sleepless most days of the week?

My daughter's forehead was completely covered! Now it's clear. I think she should give it a go.

I agree she should give it a try. It is simple to use and seems to work from the first week.

Wow, I had always wondered if this product worked as well as it claimed. My son and daughter are both redheads with very fair and sensitive skin. Products tend to make my son's face worse, by drying it out around teh acne and making it peel! (and the acne stays!).I really wish there was a sample size!

They do offer a money back guarentee so it is worth it. My daughter had to cut down to using it once a day because it was a bit harsh for her but still have great results.

I know what you mean. My daughter is also a redhead. Yes, a sample size would really be helpful.

I was very skeptical because of the price. We have spent so much, on so many products, though. And it's true, they are sitting in the cabinet! Not with this, however. Miracle facial!

I bought proctive for my daughter too. She is almost 13 and has quite bad pimples on the T zone which get worse with hormone breakouts. It has definately made a difference to her and she has only been using it for about two months. I am impressed also...

Acne or pimples is a very common skin disorder that most young people get in early puberty. It is caused by inflammation of the small oil glands. Depending on the severity of your acne, your doctor may choose to treat you or refer you to a dermatologist. Acne can be treated with medications that are either applied to the skin or taken by mouth. Here are some tips which can help :- Wash your face twice a day with a mild cleanser. Make sure you wash your skin whenever it becomes sweaty. Do not scrub your face. Do not squeeze or pick at the pimples. This makes them worse and may cause scarring. Avoid exposing your skin to too much cold, heat and sunlight. Sunlight may improve your acne for a while, but it won't cure it. Use a water-based moisturiser. Greasy or oily creams and foundations block the pores and may cause pimples. Choose a sensible, varied diet, drink lots of water and exercise regularly. If you feel good, your skin will feel good also. Make your life tension or stress free. Best of Luck! 'n have a nice time. Bye

That's great- I tried this a long time ago ( probably 7 years or so).. My face is super sensitive-- it didn't work for me-- My face now is much better- I get an occasional pimple (I think its age) I'm 34... I use Clean & Clear products-- My problem is they dry out my face-- I'm sure I will try this for my daughter if she gets pimples as I did as a young lady-- Hopefully not !!
