when is it ever ok to "cheat" off someone?

when i was younger i got caught for coping off my friends paper. the teacher found out and i had to redue the whole thing. for the ENTIRE school year she wouldn't let me site next to any of my friends. i even promised her i would never do it again, and i DIDN'T! i don't make promises teacher! when do you think it's ever ok to cheat off someones paper and have you ever done it...come on, everyones got to do it at lease once in their life!
