If the christian God is true God, Then Why were the other God or Goddesses around centuries before?
Also Why did it take God so long to do the salvation plan, other religions have been around four thousands of years ?

IF the Christian God is true then the only "logial" answer to your question is that it's all a God's plan which the man cannot comprehend. And as to waiting for salvation - maybe the salvation wasn't needed that bad until 2000 years ago?
