When I was younger I really love sending letters and receiving one.I had had a lot of pen friends then, we send letters and cards.I miss those days when I receive real letters on the mail instead of those things that ask you to pay your bill.I miss those stamps and those stationery that smells really good.I still love receiving snail mails though I don't really receive as much as I used too...Do you still receive snail mails? E-mail is absolutely convenient but receving those hand written letters are quite nice isn't?

I can't even remember the last time that I received a hand written letter, or that I wrote one, for that matter. E-mail has made it so much easier to keep in touch, but you're right, there is something special and more personal about receiving a "real" letter. I remember when I was young I had several Pen-Pals from around the world. I vividly remember one from Korea. When I moved into my house 10 years ago, I found a box and there were tons of letters from this Korean pen-pal that I had saved. I looked through them and was amazed at how much we actually "talked" about as teenagers. We talked a lot about differences in our families, our society and culture, and our schools. It was interesting to remember...

I can't remember the last time I received a letter. There is definitely something a lot more personal about it. The closest we get now is birthday and christmas cards and even a lot of those are sent electronically now. I remember when I was a kid that my sister had a pen pal in Germany (we lived in Scotland), and I just thought it was the most incredible thing when those letters arrived with the different stamps and the postmarks from another country...letter writing is definitely a lost art.

I still remember the last time I received a letter from my friend inn USA it is around middle of may 2006. There is definitely something a lot more personal about it. The closest we get now is birthday and "Hari Raya Idul Fitri" cards from my friend in Malaysia Switzerland,Hongkong,Singapore and now we are communicating by sending electronically , and I just thought it was the most incredible thing when those letters arrived with the different stamps and the postmarks from another country, letter writing is definitely a lost art and i still collected the stamp from them
