Babidi Saga inconsistency

Hey guys.... do you remember the part in the Babidi saga when Goku, Gohan and vegeta were in that spaceship to get to level four. Now why were they fighting tose goons? Why couldn't goku Teleport all of them to the last level where they could easily take care of Daborah and Babidi? Buu is not released, Vegeta doesn't die...the earth doesn't get destroyed.... no problems whatsoever.
