Help when raising anothers child. Do you have the right to say yes and no with out asking the other partner?????? I have had my boyfriends child sence birth.((the real mother tryed to throw him down the stairs because she did not want him))))Me on the other hand love children and have 4 adult children took him as my own!!!Now after 6 years the father says I have no rights to tell (((my son))) if he can sleep over my 30 year old daughters house with out asking him?? Is this Right??? He is hardly ever here with his job and hours ...

Legally, he probably is right. Morally and emotionally...who knows? Have you legally adopted this child? If not, then legally he is the guardian and gets to decide what happens to the child.

No and he has not got guardianship eather.I would love to be his mother.

I don't think your boyfriend is right. Did you legally adopt the child. Even if you didn't, you are raising the child and take care of him most of the time, you should have a right to say what he can and can not do. If your boyfriend does not agree, then he should take care of his son full time. You can not be a mother part time to his son. That is really nice of you to raise another woman's son, she's not really a woman, since she tried to throw the baby down the stair's, she's an animal, and even that's too good a label for her.

Thank you I have grandchildren older then him (the child))) was living in Florda had a ful time job and left it all! To let this child be around his family here in PA... And get no help from HIS Side!!!!!
