Yet again, I heard on the news about an accident involving a person that is over 80. I have heard about 2 or 3 within the last few weeks. These people have run into buildings and go through intersections causing harm to property, other people and themselves. What do you think?

I don't believe there is any one particular age, i think its more of an individual thing, but i certainly think that after reaching a certain age, driving should be re evaluated for the safety of the drivers and others on the road, poor eyesight is something that often comes with age, and its dangerous to be on the road if your eye sight is fading

Ultimately, it's up to the local DMV to decide whether a person is too old to drive. There are people in their 90s who are perfectly lucid and able to drive...and then there are people like the man who drove through THREE BLOCKS of a closed off Farmers Market a few years ago in my hometown, killing ten people...including two children.

Too old to drive is when you no longer can think well enough to remember what you are doing. Or when you can not react fast enough to situations. It could be 60 or it could be 90. It all depends on the individual.
