the new windows

just wondering if anyone out there has tried the new windows vista and what it is like? I hate XP I should have stayed with 2000. now I can't even find 2000. if you have any idea how vista works please let me no

I am not too up to date about these things but my son is , he never buys it untill it has been on the go for about a year , he did the same with XP he recons the new systems are full of bugs for a while so he waits , so far he has been right , xx

I haven't tried it but I'll assure you that only the higher versions are worth upgrading to. The home edition sucks. U need 128 mb graphic card if u want to use it's coolest feature i.e. AERO that is the 3d environment. It is not compatible with http sies in outlook. Of course you can download the version of outlook that supports this but ironically.... that doesn't install on vista :P. What's more stupid is that is has very high reqs and take 6gb of hard disk space. It's voice recognition is flawed and best of all... it isn't cmpatible with MICROSOFT HARDWARE. Vista has been critisised worldwide so even if it is more user friendly, I wouldn't recommend upgrading to it unless they come out with better versions.
