A lot of people immigrate. People have different reasons why they do so. However, the general question is if it is right to immigrate at all?

I see no problem with immigration as long as one is intending to be a productive citizen and not a taker of a countries programs.

You're asking if it's OK for people to move to a different country? Why not! If you are looking to make a good life for yourself, why shouldn'y you have the freedom to do that where you want to? Assuming people will abide by all laws involved, I don't have a problem with it. We aren't monkeys in a cage, but free people who have the right to choose where life takes us.

Point well taken. It's just that sometimes migrating is not a want but a need specially for people living in a country which does not provide them well.
