I wouldn't support this idea. People are responsible for feeting rats. Cockroaches? I saw few in my life, never in my house. Dust mites? are always present in our life. As long as we keep everything clean and free from cluster, there is no problem. I would better make oil corn:)

Suckermouth catfish or janitor fish is a relatively harmless fish to man and to other fish, but you know what, this fresh-water creature is now infesting the waters in the Philippines, i mean lakes, ponds, rivers here which make fishermen's lives miserable because even it's harmless, it is relatively useless.. until a young science high school lad found a way.. extracting body oil to produce biofuel and making soaps. this student won in Intel science fair just recently (2006).. if we can make those creatures, we consider pests, be very useful (i guess Humane societies won't bother), it'll be great!
