Babel- What did you think?

I just saw Babel and I'm not going to lie it was the most uncomfortabe movie I've seen in a long time. It was too close, too intense, too nude! What was up with the asian girl?! When does someone suggest counsling for her? Tell me what you think?

In my opinion , the asian-deaf-girl part was unnessacary. They should have made a stronger connection between the girl and the rest of the other plot. She played no role in affecting the other families. There should have been a bigger impact between her and other families because a part of the story is the most disturbing and sad part.
