Brushing Your Little One's Teeth

Can you give me tips on how I should brush my 2 year old's teeth, it's always like a fight when we do this every day. Some days she is cooperative but on most days no. She knows how to brush herself but I do know she doesn't get every tooth brushed. Tips please. Thanks.

I use a toothbrush with soft bristles and a kiddie toothpaste. Soft as not to hurt the gums. I do it myself very gently, and my 2 year old enjoyed it. He was like tickled everytime i brush his teeth. And me as a mom enjoyed it much.

Take a junior brush, apply paste and ask him to show the teeth (you can demonstrate) and slowly move the brush, ask him to open the mouth (you show him) brush all parts of the teeth, ask him to put water in and gorgle and spit. If you do this3 to 4 times, I think the 2 year ones pick it up.
