"Google means a very large number" it is the numnrt "1" followed by 100 zeros. Its creator were confused about how to spell this, and so they actually spelled it incorrectly. It is a mathematical term and it is spelle g-o-o-g-o-l. So that is the right way to spell Google. Most people dont know about that. On aug 19,2004, Google went public in an unconventional intial public offering at $85/share, raising nearly $2billion in the larget technology IPO ever. In less than a year, the stock soared to more than $300/share, making it a financial and technology powerhouse without peer. Blue chip venture capital firms, Yahoo!, Alta Vista, and many more other major search engine and technology companies were approached by creater of Google (Sergey Brin and Larry Page) but was turned down the chance to buy Google's search system for $1 million. By the summer of 2005, each of the founder has a net worth of more than $10 billion.
