Why it is very hard to say that you love someone??

I find people that really hard for them to say I love you to the one they love. Why is it so hard for them? Is it because they have not feel that , that person also love them?? Do you have any idea?

i think that some people find it hard to say i love you 'cause they aren't expressive at all or maybe they aren't fond of letting someone know thir feelings..

I agree with you that is a big possibility why others dont want to know that they love a person. But it's better to be expressive for you to know what is the reaction of that particular person. Thanks for your response.

Fear of refusal is the sole reason for people's hesitation to express love.Courage and conviction are the things if you have,leave alone love,you can express any thing without an iota of hesitation.

I agree with you that it is because they are afraid that their love ones does not love them in return. Its true that we just love and not to expect to be love for us not to be hesitant.

I am from Asia, and I really find it very diffucult to tell my parents and my sister that I love them. Its just that I can't tell them in their face. It's hard. Maybe I feel shy, and I don't have the guts to tell them. And in my opinion, we don't have to tell them in words that we love them. Action counts too. And sometimes action is more important than words.

Yes I do agree with you that actions speak louder but it is good if you can also voice out what you feel specially when you love someone. Maybe you are just shy to say it.
