There are many films I love to watch that are only in black and white. It doesn't stop me from watching them. The acting or the storyline in them might but not the fact that they aren't in color. I happen to love the movie Yankee Doodle Dandy. Originally it was in black and white although they did try to colorize it at one time, didn't look right at all to me.

Yes, especially the old film noir detective dramas from the 40s and on. The black and white format just seems to make the dangerous situations even more menacing.

One of my favorite films is in black and white, Casablanca. And any film noir is great. I like the look of black and white.

Personally i love black and white movies. I might be young. (19) but i've always enjoyed watching these especially the classics which channel four used to and sometimes still do show. I'm a huge fan of hitchcock's classics and i love the older carry on films

I love Black and white movies. They have a certain nostalgia about them.Besides there is always a wide variety of subjects to choose from.I love Hitchcock,James Cagney,Spencer Tracy,Katherine Hepburn etc.Watching an Hitchcock movie is more frightening than watching some of the horror or detective movies made today. The black and white makes it more frightening and interesting

It must be our age, but I too enjoy them very much. When I was in my 30's I would always watch balck and white sitcoms. My friends always teased me about it because they were so techno. LOL

Definately! Some of my fav flicks are black and white actually like the 1939 version of Hunchback, the original Psycho, The Birds, The Innocents (which is the film version of Henry James' Turn of the Screw) and the original the Haunting too...As much as special f/x in todays films rocks...the classics IMO can be and generally are far creepier because they HAD TO rely on angles and acting etc ya know....
