Perving vs Admiring

My boyfriend and I disagree on this.
I believe his uncle is a pervert. He gawks at women, when you have a discussion with you looks you over, he makes lewd comments about women.
My boyfriend says, he isnt a pervert but "an admirer of women".
I think thats just saying pervert in a nicer way.
What are your opinions?
What constitutes as perving?

Men will always protect their fellow men. They have no idea what a pervert is unless one is coming on to them or making them feel uncomfortable. I think any man who makes a woman feel uncomfortable is a pervert. The comments alone lets you know. I know sometimes there are just men who make me feel this way when they do not make others feel that way.

i would say a pervert is more someone that constantly stares at any woman or man, and just cant take ther eyes off them, and is just thinking about getting with that person; whereas an admirer is more some that just thinks someone is good looking but has no real feelings for them
