I like my job. I work as a programmer in one local company. The job is good. The $$$ are good and I do the job that I want to do.

It's good to know that you are satisfied with your job... job satisfaction is a big problem now-a-days with the employed. But doesn't apply exactly the same to me... am a mere college student doing my grad, and surely am very happy persuing my fav course(Info Tech) thereby.

I loved my job when I first started and used to go in all the time for overtime but lately it has been a hassle just to go to work . Every day they change the rules and you never know if you are going to get in trouble for something that yesterday when you did , you were doing right .

Not really, it is just a job. I always like my job when I first start and I am learning. Once I learn everything about the job I no longer like it so much. It is quite boring actually.

It's good to have a job you actually like. It makes life so much more bearable doesn't it? I've been working in a software development company for the past 7 months doing recruitment and facilities management which I really enjoy. I also work on issue tracking for software improvements which is quite complex. Most of what I do makes me feel as if I've achieved something of importance and I get a good sense of job satisfaction especially when I get good feedback from my boss (which is often) as well as other colleagues.

Thanks for the BR on this one, surprise that there weren't many more responses on this as I thought it was a good discussion to start :)
