Is it just to die for a football match?

Hello! In these days in Italy there is a very difficult situation for whom love football...all the matches had been stopped for several days 'couse one policeman was killed by a hooligan after an important match. Tomorrow the championship will restart again but all the matches will be played without public! Since I'm a great football fan I'm very very sad to see the stadiums empty! I don't know if all those that are not italian can understand me...but if in your country football is an important sport like in italy, maybe you can understand what we are passing by... This is the question that everybody ask here in Italy: is just to die for football?
