When is the most appropriate time to ask an employer about the wage rate when applying for a job? Most job ads I have seen don't mention how much the employer is willing to pay you for the job if you are accepted. So you spend a lot of time and effort sending them your resume and a cover letter without knowing if the wage is even acceptable for you. Does everyone do that? So when and how do you find out how much you're going to earn in that job? I'm just confused. How does this whole thing work?
