Is it possible to make good money on mylot?

I've been on mylot for the past 6 days. However, i was shocked to see people with more than a thousand beside their name. Is that figure accumulated? Why does mylot pay us? How much do they pay us? How do they pay us?
Is it true that i have to reply to and start discussions all the time so that i can get more money? What is the average payment for mylot users in a month? How do i increase my earnings?
I just want to know if it is worth my time. Is the payment worth your time spent online with mylot?

Hi camar_lyn, you've just started so it's only fair that you ask such questions. First, the number nest to our names is the number of posts we've made since the time we've joined. We also call them ratings. Once you cross 100 posts you will be given a star which symbolises your reputation here at myLot. There is no fixed amount here and myLot pays solely based on the quality of our discussions. Yes, you have to respond to discussions as well as start some worthwhile ones to be able to earn well. You can increase your earnings if you have active referrals under you. I joined myLot in the beginning of Dec. and have been coming back day after day since then. Read all the rules and regulations and stick to them no matter what. That will ensure your stay here, otherwise you will get banned..lol! Well, I don't mean to scare you...enjoy yourself here and don't focus too much on the money. You will get paid that is for sure so don't worry about that. Hope you have a good time here!
