I take blood pressure medications, about 2.5 mg everyday in the morning, each of us usually are tried for different medications and the best one which suites us is given to us to continue for a long time,I don't know about ringing in th ear, I have not experienced it you can consult an ENT specialist and find out.

I suffer from high blood pressure as well and so far have not noticed a ringing in my ear so I am not sure what would be causing that . I don't know any good meds that you can try as I am on a couple of different meds for this and they still don't seem to be helping much and now I have the Nitro as well , just in case . I did start a discussion about this though and a number of people did mention garlic was supposed to help lower one's blood pressure so I am going to give this a try . Best of luck !!

My husband has a constant ringing in his ear but it is attributed to being in combat rather than natural medical reasons. There is nothing he can do about it other than suffer through it. I knew a guy that lived next door to my aunt and he had the same thing. I don't know if there is a medication for that. I would check with a specialist of the ear nose and throat to see if there is something that can be done. I am sorry to see you go through this, because I completely understand how frustrating it can be!

I use to manage hypertension, listening musiq, playing violen and i like chocolates, and i feel i get refreshed after having my chocolates. And best remedy is Meditation, try breathing exercise, it will help you balance and handle hypertension.

there are alot of narural ways to control hypertension.. garlic is one of the famous natural way to prevent hypertension. Garlic has been touted as an herb with numerous health benefits, from treating the common cold to serving as an anti-cancer agent. Research has proven that garlic is beneficial for those with hypertension. By thinning the blood garlic can lower blood pressure by 5 to 10 percent. It can also lower cholesterol and discourage clot formation. Unfortunately, garlic has a reputation for being an "anti-social" food, but with all of the health benefits that garlic provides, bad breath should be the least of your worries.

i got this high blood pressure thing about 3 months ago. i was on midication and i enrolled in a gym. in less than a month, i got over the problem out of my system. i am thankful that until now, my blood pressure never has ever been back to those levels which was truly uncomfortable and makes me feel those unusual headaches. i am suffering though from those ringing in my ears. i believe that i got it from those years when i was still in college and i got sick. i was in medication for something like more than a year.
