Did your parents play a big role in your choice of course to study?

or was it totally your own decision? I know of children who are not happy with their courses because it was their parents choice for them? I wonder what will happen after they graduated.

Oh, I had first hand experienced to that. My parents made a choice for me in what course to take. Right now I could not even parctised my porfessions because I have no interest on it. I don't like it so I don't do it. It's really weird having course which you didnt like. I had a hard time getting a job because I don't like my profession. I really regret it and I keep blaming them for what happened.

That's sad? I hope you can find something that you will really enjoy. Never too late. Cheers.

Nope. But my siblings did. I was planning to take up computer programming but my sis told me to take up computer science instead. Then my brother advised me to go for computer engineering and i did. ^_^

My parents didn't choose my choice of study but only guided me. My daughter did not know what she wanted to do when she left school, so we sat down and worked out what she enjoyed doing and what she was acually good at, from there we looked at different careers she could go for and now she is at college studying interior design. I'm afraid no one will do well in a course they are 'forced' to do rather than one they have chosen to do because they enjoy it!
