For the "searchers":If you were on a mission to find your Faith, would you look outside your 'normal' myriad of religions to do it? For example, if you were raised Anglican, would you consider looking outside your faith umbrella (ie Christianity) into something like a nature-based faith, Judaism, Buddhism, or some such in order to find what you were spiritually looking for?

Most definately and i did actually...I'm also a firm believer that if more ppl followed their TRUE heart and soul rather than follow what they've been TOLD is in their heart and soul, you'd find more ppl venturing off their normal path in search of true peace, contentment etc instead of following the masses/the neighbours/the parents becuase they've been conned.....make sense? and I think that if that were to happen there would be less hatred and flatout nonsense goin on in the world really because we'd all be more at peace with ourselves first and foremost but in turn be more at peace and compassionate with the ppl and world around us..

There was a time when I questioned my own faith, largely because of outside pressure. At that time I remember looking everywhere, trying to give every religion I could learn about a chance. I wound up going right back to what I believed all along, but I feel a stronger person for the experience.

That's exactly what I did to become where I am today - and I plan to continue to keep searching different religons in my search for a more spiritual me. I was raised in a non-practicing christian home and pretty regularly attended chruch from about 3rd grade until about 8th or 9th grade. From early on there were things that I didn't agree with and didn't feel right to be about christianity and the Bible. When I was in the 11th grade I knew that I wanted to start searching 'out side of the box' so to speak. I didn't actually start my quest until not after I graduated high school. I happened to start watching Montel and his guest that day was Sylvia Browne. There was something extremely real about her - I believed her. I am skeptical when it comes to psyhics because they're a lot out there who pretending to be and taking advantage of people (and their pocket books). Sylvia opened up a whole new world to me. She made me feel so much better about God, the afterlife, and my self. She aslo introduced me to the Goddess which eventually lead me into wicca about 3 years ago. I had always been intrested in wicca but I had been to held back by the fear (of God - now how silly is that?) of exploring it. And I feel I'm just scrathing the surface on wicca - and my spiritually exploration. I have/do study christianity and it's history still. There are certain aspects of it that I connect with. And there are many, many other religons I hope to explore yet. There is something that Sylvia says and that I firmly believe - "When your spirit hears the truth - it knows it".
