Who moved from Atari to Commodore Computers to get more & better games?

Commodore computers advertised that their computers had more & better games than the Atari 2600. Atari joysticks even worked with the Commodore.
Did anyone upgrade to Commodore? They were more popular in the 80s than most computer histories will tell you.
