Do you get enough sleep?

I usually sleep around 7-8 hours a night and that has worked well for me. I can get up and feel no urges to go back to sleep and I am energetic enough to last through my lectures and the rest of the day. If I don't get enough, I feel tired and lazy, even if I only get a few hours less than normal. My sleep schedule is pretty routine..I sleep around 12am and wake up at 7-8am. My boyfriend however, has a really erratic sleep schedule. He'll stay up to 4-5am, wake up for classes and then take naps after. I find he's usually less energetic than I am and gets tired far easier lol. What's your sleep schedule like? Do you feel energetic throughout the day?

I have very weird sleeping patterns ;) I normally be in bed for about 6-12 But i find it hard to get to sleep so i end up spending 1-2 hours just trying to get to sleep To make up for it though i can lie in bed untill about 4pm on weekends;)

Haha, I generally sleep in late on weekend too. But I find if I get too much sleep (12+ hours!), my head starts hurting (or maybe it's just my pillow's not comfortable...lol). Usually if I'm worried about something, I won't be able to fall asleep or sleep very well. That's what happened over the summer when I was working part time as a cashier. If I had a really early shift, I would sleep poorly and wake up every hour or so to check the time. I was worried that I would sleep in a miss it, but even setting 4 alarms didn't really help. Good thing it was summer though, and I didn't need the sleep anyway.

well i am really not having enough sleep and i really dont find my self enough active all day long may be because i am unable to take enough sleep for my day. and its just because i am indulge with many of the things in my life like job, studies, girl freind and all. because of this i am really unable to take a sleep and belive me if i do try to have enough sleep still then i cant sleep without finishing my whole target of day and that is causing my sleep at sundays too i am having classes in university and i cant even take some rest at sunday. i think i am having very robotic life, Regards, Sam

Wow, you're like my boyfriend in that aspect. He has to finish everything before he sleeps. If studying, he won't notice that he's studied the whole night through if he has to. For me, if I don't sleep by 2am latest, I'll be too sleepy to focus on anything. I guess I have a more laid back attitude - sleep first, everything else later.

Normally I try to get between 7-8 hours of sleep per night. Occasionally I suffer insomnia though, and those nights can be just awful. If I sleep less than say 6 hours per night I feel very bagged out and in turn stressed the next day.

LOL with mylot around, i usually stay up for a bit promising myslef il only be online for 30minutes then an hour then ebfore you know it Im way way past bedtime.:) I usually sleep now at 3am and wake up at 7am or 8 since i do have a dog to take care of. For me that isnt enough sleep. But when you count in the one hour nap time in the afternoon, i can say i can live with the amount of hours of sleep i currently have. :)
