Has anyone else experienced "parental abuse" by their own child?

My son has been diagnosed with bipolar, among many other things, and has tormented my family for years. He is now in Residential Treatment, but he tried to accuse me twice of child abuse; when it was he that was abusing me. I feel alot of anger towards him because his illness cannot be blamed for alot of things- he uses this as an excuse. Anyone else feel like I do?
