How can the edge of the pie crust be kept from browning too dark? Place strips of foil around the edge before it gets too dark. Can cookies that turned soggy be saved? Yes, just pop them in a 300* oven for 3 to 5 min. Can I freeze two cursted pies? Yes, but freeze the baked pies before wrapping. What if I'm making a yeast dough and the phone rings? Dough can rest covered at room temperature up to half an hour, or can be refigerated one to two hours.

These are very interesting and useful tips. I haven't ever baked pies yet, but today, I had been thinking that I would soon, because it is one of the few things that I have yet to try. I noticed that you have very many different recipes and tips, throughout your mylot page. It looks like a cookbook, you should think about doing something like that , if you haven't already. There are so many cookbooks out there, but they are not always easy to follow, nor affordable. You could probably talk to a publisher and get something out there, even just for a hobby. I like to have as many recipes and tips as possible, because we do have to eat 365 days in the year, and after a few days, the same old recipes are no longer appealing. Good luck.

I'm glad you are enjoying my receipes. I don't have enough money to publish a book. So just enjoy printing these out for free and enjoying them my dear. Blessings, M&M

Did you know that if you freeze berries individually on cookie sheets and then bag them, they do not stick together in clumps. I though I would throw in a handy tip myself.
