well it depends really. i think if they are given an allowance then its up to the parents to say how much (depending on their chores or what not) if there have their own job then i say they deserve all that they get paid. but it wouldnt hurt them to help pay for certain bills either.

I would base it on how much time was spent cleaning up the house/room? In the summer months was higher than the actual school year. It was $10.00 per day during the summer months and $5.00 during the school year.
