9/11 us towers attack

i was at work when it happened. the 1st thing i thought of was my kids. come to find out that their school was in lockdown. i was never so scared than i was then.

I was on my way to work when I heard what had happened on the radio. Honestly it scared me really badly. My brother called me to ask me if I wanted him to go and get my son from school. I said no I think he is safe there. I called my boyfriend to find out if him and my other son were okay. It really opened my eyes to the fact that we aren't as safe as we thought we were. I use to take things for granted, but now I try to cherish every single moment. I especially try to make every minute with my children special. I have the upmost respect for our military and what they do to protect us.
