Ok...so I posted a discussion about this before, and only got one response. As many people that's on MyLot, I figured I'd have quite a few responses since I know just about everyone goes shopping at one point or another. Like I said before, can someone help me understand why people do the things they do while they shop?? Is it really necessary to basically destroy a department while we look at things?? Is it really necessary to just drop things where ever we are when we decide we don't want them?? I mean, c'mon...don't ya think the decent thing to do would be to keep the item with us while we finish shopping, and then at the end give it to the cashier, and tell them we don't want it?? I have so many people come in looking for things that no one can find. I have to tell the person we don't have any because we don't have it in the backroom, and the shelf is empty. Then sometime later in the night, I find that exact item laying on a shelf somewhere!! What if that was you wanting that item, and I was telling that to you? People get so upset when they can't get what they want, and I hate seeing people leaving not satisfied, but what burns me even more is when someone leaves unsatisfied, and I find out later they could've been satisfied. Also, why do people have to open boxes, and pull the item out to look at it?? There's a picture on the box, and a description on the box as well. Sometimes there's even the dimensions of the item on the box too! So, what's there really to see?? Oh!! and in alot of cases there's a display up! So....why do we have to open the item up?? What's worse is most of the time they don't even buy the one they opened...they put that one back, and then get one that's not opened. OMG!! You opened it!! What's wrong with that one?? I don't understand this. Do we really not know how big a queen or king size blanket is?? Do we have to unfold everything? Do we have to take the curtains out of the pack? Do we not realize how hard it is to get these things back into their package?? Of course we do...that's why I find them laying on the shelves, or just all over the floor. I just wish people would think about stuff like this before they start doing things like that. Most people don't want to purchase items that have been opened, but yet some of these same people are the ones that open them! What ever happened to people respecting each other? As far as I'm concerned, this would be in that category. I'm not going to open something up unless I'm planning on purchasing it. Actually, I wouldn't even open it...mainly because I know how hard it is to get things back in their package exactly the way they were before I took them out, but also because if by chance I end up not purchasing it, I know you wouldn't want to get it now that I've opened it. So....can anyone explain some of these things to me?? I would appreciate some feedback on this.
