Does the road to MODERNITY imperils MORALITY?

The issue regarding the legalization of abortion in Portugal falls into this category. And there are many issues in the field of science and technology, environment, etc. that seems to threaten the society's moral fiber. What is your view on this?

I think that society needs to get up to date with their priorities, and realise that the morals of a past generation have nothing to say about our current situation. The wrold has moved on, and a lot of people feel threatened by the upcoming changes.

So your saying that morality is an ever-changing issue that differs from generation to generation? Are you advocating subjectivity with regard to our morals?
