Hats off to the English team for showin' courage to come back and beat Australia 2-0 in the recently concluded Commonwealth Cricket series held in Australia. Very good captaincy by Flintoff and good battin' skills from Collingwood saw them thru'. Will england have it in them atleast to reach the semis of the upcoming world cup????

I think it's just that Australia have loosened their reins a bit after their continous winning streak. England have also got to perform good after their dreadful performance in the ashes. It's just now that England has outperformed Australia in every field,

that was really a surprise package from the England team. Australia was in a very good form and it looked like no team can beat them and that also England was most unlikely but cricket is a very funny game and so very funny things happen during the game. Australia lost two games in succession to the England team home they dominated so far with such ease. I would not be surprised if this is a ploy by the Australian team to hide their weakness so that they are not exposed during the World Cup scenario and so that they can perform easily. But also one factor remains as the England team has a very nice order because they have a lot of all-rounders and on a given day they can be a very good opponent.

i feel that Aus overconfidence have resulted in their losses. Hope this will be a lesson in the future for them not to take any team lightly.

Well., Its a mix of England playing well and Aussies dropping off. Teams always want to be in peak form during the World Cup. As for Australia they have been in peak form for so many years and i feel now its dipping - fortunately or unfortunately for the Aussies. Lets not take anything away from England, they outplayed Aussies and the momentum is with them. Cant rule out England being a strong force at the WC.
